Our yard (Blackmiller Stables) is located in the heart of the Curragh Training Grounds, widely recognised as one of the premier racehorse training locations throughout the world.

 

We have 31 high quality stables in our yard, in addition to a 5-horse walker, barns, lunge ring and sand roll, heat treatment room, and use of the excellent equine swimming pool, equine spa and sea water walker conveniently located close to us. In addition, we have an extensive range of paddocks and fields for turning the horses out. Darren & Gillian live at a house in the stables so the horses can receive their care and attention 24 hours a day throughout the year.

 

Our horses are trained on the Curragh training grounds which provides us with 365 days a year use of

 

• 70 Miles of Grass Gallops                            

• Approx 12 miles of Peat Gallops 

• 8 All Weather Tracks (2 sand & fibre, 1 Polytrack, 5 Woodchip)

• 2 Furlong Schooling Strip (Hurdles & Fences)

• Extensive grass schooling facilities (Hurdles & Fences)
