Grey Danube Looking Better Than Ever And Makes It Win Number 6

Absolutely thrilled to see Grey Danube notch up his 6th win at Dundalk tonight in what I consider to be his best performance to date. He won tonight off a 7lb higher rating than any of his previous wins. The first two pulled clear of the field in the closing stages and he won with a bit up his sleeve. He's a real character and has been the most wonderful servant for the yard. I bought him for only £3,000 and if I could find another like him for many times that amount I'd be very hapy.
It was another fast time, which suited him well, and he was given a peach of a ride yet again by Leigh who has now won 5 on him. We've been looking forward to stepping Grey Danube up to this 7f trip and it opens up a range of additional options for him going forward.
I feel he will be competitve over 7f in listed races and will look for suitable opportunities. We have his unraced 3yo half sister Enchanteresse at home, who we rate very highly, and so anything he can do in listed company will do her no harm at all.
