Great performance by Limit Long to record back to back wins when stepping up significantly in trip in the Book Online @DundalkStadium.com Handicap at Dundalk this evening.
That was a savage ride by Billy. I said to him going out to just let him bowl along. It’s all about filling him up and giving him a bit of confidence. Billy judged it perfectly and it was nice compensation for us after we had two seconds earlier on the card. Our horses continue to be in great form. Fantastic to see all the team getting the rewards they deserve for the brilliant job they do with these horses both at home and on race days.
Limit Long is a tricky horse to win with as he has his moments. He’s a serious work horse at home and things are starting to go in the right direction for him on the racecourse. He’s a horse that will jump a hurdle as well. He’s a natural jumper and has done plenty of schooling at home.
I expect we'll be back here again during the Winter All-Weather Programme and will look at options over hurdles also.
