Limit Long put up a great performance for an all the way win in the Gilna's Cottage Inn (QR) Race at Laytown today. It was our first time to have any runners at the unique setting and it was great to come away with a win to mark the occasion.
Finny Maguire gave the horse a fantastic ride and in my opinion is one of the best riders riding under any code today, let alone in the amateur ranks. He's a top class rider who always gets the best out of his mounts.
Limit Long is a horse with a lot of talent and this was his second win. Despite race conditions not suiting him today he showed great resolution to seal the victory and clearly enjoyed his day out at the beach.
Well done to all the team on a job well done again. Our horses are in great form and long may that continue. Thanks to everyone for all the messages we've received after the race.
